Alpha Tester Terms

Effective date: 7 October 2026

Thanks for helping us test Kawaii Cat Attack!!. These are the short rules for the alpha. They're an agreement between you and HeatSeeker LLC, a Utah limited liability company that makes Kawaii Cat Attack!! ("we"). You agree to them when you tap "I agree" in the app, tick the box on the sign-up page, or install an alpha build. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data.

1. Who can test

You must be 18 or older and invited by us (or accepted from the waitlist). Your invite is just for you: please don't pass on your invite link, the installer or the test build. We can switch off an invite link at any time.

2. It's unfinished

The alpha is a pre-release test version. Cats will glitch, features will change or disappear, and things may break. We give it to you "as is", without any promises that it works, is error-free or will stay available. Please don't rely on it for anything important, and switch the cats off (or remove the extension or app) if they get in the way of something that matters, like work, a presentation or anything safety-related. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss that comes from using the alpha; this doesn't take away rights you have by law that can't be waived.

3. We can change or end it

We can update the alpha, pause it, end it, or end your access at any time. We'll try to tell you first in the weekly alpha note.

4. Keep it between us for now

Please don't post videos, screenshots or details of the alpha publicly yet: the cats are still being drawn and lots will change. Showing it in person to friends and family is fine. We'll tell you when sharing is OK.

5. No store reviews

Please don't leave reviews of Kawaii Cat Attack!! in Google Play, the Chrome Web Store or any other store during the alpha. Tell us instead. If you ever review it later, please mention that you were an alpha tester and got free alpha coins.

6. Kitten Koins and the alpha

7. Your feedback

Feedback is the whole point, thank you! When you send us ideas, bug reports, suggestions or other feedback, you let us use them freely, for any purpose, without paying you or naming you (a free, worldwide, permanent licence). You don't have to send anything. Please only send things that are yours to share, and don't include personal information (yours or anyone else's).

8. Your data

We collect only what the sign-up form and the feedback box show you, plus a few details about your invite link if you use the desktop app (when it was used, the app version, the terms version you agreed to, and scrambled codes), so the app can check your invite and get updates. It never sends anything about your screen, other apps, typing or files. The Privacy Policy ("Alpha testing" section) says what we keep, where, for how long, and how to have it deleted.

9. How to quit

You can stop any time, no need to explain:

  1. Uninstall the app (Windows: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Kawaii Cat Attack!! → Uninstall; Mac: quit it, then drag Kawaii Cat Attack!! from Applications to the Trash) or remove the extension (right-click its icon → Remove). Android testers can also leave the test from the Google Play opt-in page.
  2. If you'd like your sign-up details and feedback deleted too, email support@kawaiicatattack.com (see the Privacy Policy for what we delete).

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these alpha terms, we'll tell you in the alpha note or by email before the change applies. If you keep testing after that, the new terms apply.

11. The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, except where the consumer law where you live says otherwise. If any part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. They're the whole agreement about the alpha between you and us.

12. Contact

Questions, problems or "a cat is stuck somewhere it shouldn't be": support@kawaiicatattack.com, or reply to Chase's invite email.
